Paris Hilton hacker sent to jail
The teenager who hacked into the mobile phone of socialite Paris Hilton has been sent to jail. The hacker, who cannot be named because of his age, will serve an 11-month sentence in a juvenile jail. US Department of Justice did not name Ms Hilton as one of the hacker's victims as such details are kept under seal in juvenile cases. Instead, the statement mentioned "theft of an individual's personal information". However, officials close to the case confirmed that the sentenced hacker was responsible for stealing and publishing the address book from Ms Hilton's Sidekick gadget.

Hacked heiress says sorry to famous friends
Being Paris Hilton meant never having to say you're sorry - until now. The heiress/actress has issued an apology to her famous friends via Us Weekly, after their private phone numbers and e-mail addresses were released on the Internet this weekend when Hilton's T-Mobile Sidekick II was hacked. "I want to apologize to all my friends and family. I don't know why this stuff always happens to me, but I wish it wouldn't anymore. It's too upsetting for me - I can't believe it. I feel horrible that, once again, someone has invaded my privacy."

Stars plagued as hackers put Paris Hilton's phone book on net
Celebrity friends of the infamous hotel heiress Paris Hilton were deluged with telephone calls after the contents of her mobile phone address book were posted on the internet. About 500 phone numbers and e-mail addresses, including those of the singers Eminem and Christina Aguilera and the tennis player Anna Kournikova, were copied on to the site along with personal notes Miss Hilton kept on her phone. Victoria Gotti said she received 100 calls in two hours as word of the hacked address book spread.

Hackers post Paris Hilton's address book online
Hackers penetrated the high ranks of Hollywood celebrity, posting the cellular phone address book of hotel heiress and celebrity Paris Hilton on a Web and passing the phone numbers of some of Tinsel Town's hottest stars into the public realm. A copy of Hilton's T-Mobile USA Inc. cell phone address book appeared on the Web site of a group calling itself "illmob." The address book contains information on over 500 of Hilton's acquaintances, including celebrities such as Eminem and Christina Aguilera. It is not known how the information was obtained, but the release of the contact book may be further fallout from a hack of T-Mobile's servers.
